Web Design & Development

There are many types of web sites offering many types of services and products. Finding the best type of site for your business can be the hardest part of going online. At Get With The Program we believe that every web site deserves to be designed with both its application and client base in mind, as well as reflecting the core personality of your business.

Websites usually fit one of two criteria.

An information site:  These site provide information about any and all products or services you provide.
A Sales Site: An e-commerce site that sells goods or services that can be paid for via a secure payment system.

Getting a web site designed and built can be a confusing process.  Althought with careful planning, an approachable contact and sound advice, you can have your website built to meet your requirements smoothly and efficiently.

We have developed our interview process around the core considerations that will affect your websites success. Factors that we consider during the development of your web site are:

Theme - We assess your target audience, and design and develop the overall look and feel of your site to appeal to this market. Is your site themed toward your audience and does it reflect your marketing strategies? Is the personality of your business shown in your site?

Content - Is the content you have chosen for each page serving a purpose? Does it aid in achieving your marketing goals? Are the graphics of the appropriate quality? Are the number of graphics and the amount of text necessary? Is the funky, but time consuming, flash intro suitable for your site? Is the time consumed to load this intro going to deter prospective customers?

Functionality - Do all your menu's, buttons, links and email forms work correctly? Do my pages download in the appropriate time with consideration to my customer's bandwidth? Do all images have alternate text tags to maximize exposure? Is every page titled?

Navigation and Ease of Use - Is my web site easy to use? Is my web site easy to find? Is all the content in plain text and does it convey the information accurately in a condensed format?  Could any part of my site be considered distracting? Do I consider a site map? Can all visitors easily navigate from where they are to where they would like to go? Can they always get to the home page? We can help you decide which navigational tools are appropriate for your site and develop them accordingly
