Getting Started

There is a surprising amount of information required to both quote and develop your website. Read our "Getting Started" guide which will enable you to make a start on the How, What and Why's. It does seem like a lot to take in, but we've discovered over the years that putting the time in prior to developing your website is time and effort VERY well spent.

If you are looking at developing a sales website, download our "products" how to, or if you are looking for an information based side, read our "services" how to. Logo Development and Promotion info is also listed below.

Each one is in PDF format and will open in a new page.

Everything you need to know, all the information you will need to have & what the process entails. It can seem daunting, but we hope that by showing you right from the begining what you will need to get your website built, you know what you are up for and we can get the best possible concept of your requirements before we quote your website.

And of course Contact Us  with any questions you have.

Web Design & Development:

who is your market?  are you going to sell your products online? how are you going to promote your site?
who is going to be updating your site? do you or will you be using social media? do you have an existing domain name?
are you hoping for an income from your site? how often will you update your website? does your site need to be multi language?
We hope that by reading our Getting Started guide, you can work out what you are hoping to acheive from your website and assemble all the information that you need to get started. You will see links below to our "Getting Started Guide", and a To Do list for either an information/services site, or a products/sales site. This will enable you to assemble all the info you need for us to accurately quote your project. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.

Site Promotion:

Organic search rankings, Paid search rankings, Facebook advertising, Google Analytics, Page Ranking, SEO. These terms can strike fear into the hearts of even the most dedicated web manager, and can be as complicated as it sounds. You could waste very valuable time and money on website promotions that flat out don't work. Search Engine Optimisation needs to be tailored to each individual site for the best results for your clients.
We will discuss promotion as part of our interview process.

Logo & Branding Design:

The 99Designs artists compete to win your logo design, so it's in their interest to adhere to your requirements. Some designers only compete on the best paid contests, so your budget can sometimes reflect design submissions. Our fee is $195 on top of the contest fee. We recommend:
  • $500 for a small business logo
  • $750 for a more complex specification
  • $1100 for a complex logo
