An email newsletter is a great way to keep your customers abreast of all the
news and events concerning your products and/or services. A monthly newsletter
with featured products, specials and new services will keep your business (and
therefore your website) fresh in your customers mind and when they are
ready to purchase are more likely to use your site and services.
To ensure the best result from you email newsletters, there are some basic
principles that should be applied.
Your logo should be clearly visible.
It should be clear, concise and well laid out.
You clients should be able to opt out of the newsletter mailing list.
The newsletter needs to be treated similar to print advertising - the most
important items should be "above the fold" or in the top half of the newsletter
content.
All you contact details should be included.
The style, colors and fonts of the email should be a direct representation of
your website.
All the links should be obvious and in working order.
To get an email newsletter for your business we offer 2 options.
As an addition to your new website.
As an addition to your website you can
add the newsletter facility. We will initially setup the format for your email
newsletter and from that point on you can manage the newsletter distribution
yourself. You can create a new newsletter, add items, specials and news to the
newsletter. You can manage your distribution list, access previous newsletters
and track how successfull your links from your newsletters are.
As a stand alone product that is accessed from our own
site.
All of the above options are still
included, the only difference being you are given a login and password to
access the facility from our website. A setup fee of $275.00 for the
initial newsletter layout applies and then there is a charge
of 15cents per recipient per newsletter. i.e:
Newsletter created "Dec 07" : 250 recipients x 15c = $37.50
This system is on a pre-paid basis. You have an account that must be in credit
or the newsletter will not be sent. You can top up your account via Paypal® at
any time. As these are small amounts, it is more cost effective to keep the
entire process electronic so each newsletter will create an invoice that is
accessible through your account menu at any time.
